Portable N64s - Wow

I just came across a couple of these Portable N64s. I could hardly believe they were real when I saw them. Apparently each of these three portable 64s were made by regular fans by taking the guts out of the consul and, with same creative engineering, reconstructing it all in a neat little package.

I'd kill for one of these! How good would it be to bring your '64 everywhere?! Real good.

First up we've got this see-through portable:

A little too big for me but very cool anways. To see exactly how this guy did it and how you can as well, check out the web page here

Next we've got a slightly more professional looking portable from Ben Heckendorn:

Very nice and clean. To see how he put it all together, check out his site at benheck.com

Finally check out this amazing portable found on engadget.com:

That one looks professional, I'd love to get my hands on it.

I'm amazed that people actually did this stuff (especially the last one) on their own. Honestly, I'd pay good money for one. This "Marshall" guy, who made the white portable, may want to consider selling them on ebay or something. I suppose the only problem would be getting the N64 parts to make it with.

If I catch anymore of these things, I'll be sure to post 'em.

N64 Kid

Well, I know I said I'd post about maintaining your 64 system, but then I saw this video.

Wow. I got my 64 on Christmas as well but I don't think even I was that excited.
